Upgrade for the DL380

Last week i bought a cpu upgrade kit for my HP DL380 along with 2gb of extra memory.
It was all installed in just a min(really) and its working mush faster now.
Its for me my first dual cpu server and i am really liking it :P

Pictures/server sepcs (update)

I was configuring the 3th server today and made some pictures after i finished with that.
Here are some pics:

In this picture you can see very clearly the wooden case we build at the back of the rack because the HP DL380 wont fit otherwise so we expanded the back 27 cm.

The bottom server is currently hosting my Call of Duty 2 servers.
The white one on top of that is the one i configured today and will host the Call of Duty 4 servers and other servers.
The back tower is not in use yet but that will be the next server i configure and will run Team Speak 2 servers.
The white tower is my Firewall and DHCP/DNS server and is running IPCop 1.4.21.
But the DL380 is thamn noisy its very easy to hear even if you are outside of the garage!

And a bit of nightlife.

Rack in garage almost finished!

This weekend i spend the whole weekend laying the network cables for the rack and placing the rack.
On Saturday i bought some wooden plates to expand the back of the rack because the DL380 is to long.
On Sunday i spend the day with drilling holes and putting cables i used UTP cat6 cables from the garage to the house also i filled up the rack with my servers and did some cable management.
Currently i have 1 server powered on its my firewall and dhcp server the rest of my servers i will configure this week.

pictures will come soon....
