UPS

Today i bought myself a 3th UPS, the ups i just bought is bigger than the other 2 i have and its mainly gonna be for my new DL380 G3.
The UPS is from APC and its the smartUPS 1000 and it was a good buy for just € 40.

New server

This week i got myself a new server!
Its a HP DL380 G3 with:
1x Intel Xeon 2.4 Ghz 512 kb L2 Cache
2x 512Mb PC2100 ECC memory
4x 256Mb PC2100 ECC memory
6x 18,2 Gb SCSI U320 10k
HP SmartArray 5i
Redundant Power Supply

Soon there will be a second cpu in there and also some extra memory.
Currently I'm running windows server 2003 on it in raid 0 configuration the server doesn't have a purpose yet but its probably gonna be my Call of Duty server.

Start

Well where to start........
Ehh owkey hello to you all in this blog i will give you most the info about my own small game/data center that i'm building in the garage at home.
Before this i had all of it stacked into my bedroom, but now i want to axpand in this kind of stuff
My start confugration is:
- Half size serverrack from geYer
- 2 custom build servers:
server 1:
2.8 Ghz Dualcore, 3gb ddr2, 250gb storage
server 2:
1 Ghz Singelcore, 512mb sd-ram, 250 gb storage
- 24 ports Allied telesyn 8024-GB managed switch
- 2 UPS systems

This is just my start setup!
